Event Description

The Source is a social, recreational group for young adults 16 to 24 managing a mental illness. We offer a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment where youth can make new social connections and just be with their peers on a Friday evening.

The group meets Friday evenings from 7:00pm to 10:00pm either at the McNabb Community Centre on Percy in the Assembly Hall. Sometimes the group meets at the Community Centre where they do a range of activities such as playing cards, watching movies and cooking. Other Fridays they do activities in the community such as going to a hockey game, going out for a meal, or attending a festival. For this reason, registration is required so that participants can be notified of the location of the meeting on any given week. Please see below for a link to the registration and waiver form. Instructions for submission of the form are also included in the link.
